Senior Auditor-Appraiser

The County of Fresno Assessor-Recorder's Office invites applications for the position of Senior Auditor-appraiser. Incumbents provide day-to-day supervision of staff responsible for conducting audits and appraisals of personal property for assessment purposes. Supervisory duties include interviewing, selecting, training, assigning, evaluating, promoting, and disciplining subordinate staff.

Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree with the completion of at least eighteen (18) semester units of accounting and/or auditing coursework that is acceptable within the United States' accredited college or university system.

OR 

Possession of a bachelor’s degree with the completion of sixteen (16) semester units of accounting and/or auditing coursework and three (3) semester units of business law or economic classes that is acceptable within the United States’ accredited college or university system.

Experience: Three (3) years of full-time, paid work experience equivalent to that of an Auditor-Appraiser with Fresno County.

License: Possession of a valid Class "C" driver's license, or equivalent.

Certificate: Possession of a valid Appraiser certificate issued by the State Board of Equalization.
